Privacy Policy

RiftReview is a community card-rating site for Riftbound. You can browse sets, cards, scores, and reviews without an account.

• Without an account: no personal data is required. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers on the site.
• With an account (Google, Discord, X (Twitter), or Twitch): we store the email address, name, and profile picture provided by your sign-in provider, plus the username you choose.
• Your activity: the ratings (0–10) and "should be banned" votes you cast, each with a timestamp so we can show trends over time.

Your username, your ratings, and your ban votes are public and appear in community averages, leaderboards, and card pages.

Your email address is never shown to other users. It is only ever visible to you and to RiftReview administrators.

• Account email, name, and profile picture: to authenticate you and display your profile.
• Username: so other users can recognise and find your reviews.
• Ratings and ban votes (with timestamps): to compute community scores, leaderboards, and statistics, and to analyse how a card's rating changes over time.

Sign-in is handled by DraftCore's shared authentication service using Google, Discord, X (Twitter), or Twitch. Card data and artwork are provided by the independent, unofficial Riftcodex API; no personal data about you is sent there. Our hosting providers may process technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of serving requests and protecting against abuse.

RiftReview does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The only cookie we set is a strictly-necessary session cookie, issued by DraftCore's shared authentication service when you sign in, so the site can keep you logged in. It isn't used for advertising or profiling, and under the EU cookie rules no consent is required for it.

Your light/dark theme choice and the fact that you dismissed the cookie notice are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). They stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Administrators can hide a user's ratings from public averages or ban an account from creating new ratings. Where a user's ratings are hidden, they no longer count toward community scores.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing info@draftcore.net. If your account is deleted, your account data and your ratings are removed from the site.

We aim to comply with applicable data-protection regulations, such as the GDPR in Europe.

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page. If we ever change what we collect, we may also notify registered users by email.
